    A better map would be the biggest non-US chain in each country, instead of “The biggest in Europe, and these are the countries where they have at least one restaurant”.

    I’m from Germany and I don’t know any of these chains, maybe except for Costa Coffee, but I ain’t that sure tbh

  3. Yeah, seemingly all* in the UK but some very definetly here wheras some maybe 1 in the middle of London, so I can’t trust the info about the other countries and the map ends up being useless I’m afraid. Needs gradients, pehaps, to show the amount of presence in the country?

    **E.g. In The UK**

    Tim Hortons – 75

    Costa Coffee – 2467

    Jolibees – “intends to open 50 stores by 2025” (edit) 10

    Telepizza – 1? Closed in 2020.

    Nandos – 465 (*I would have guessed far higher it’s really popular*)

    Dodo Pizza – Was 5, closed in 2020 on account of Sanctions for Putin’s fuckery

    PitaPit – may have been up to 15 but apparently all closed down for 6 years or so

    Boost – 25

    Brioch Dorce – None

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    In summary, this map is out of date, misleading and wrong.
  4. Pret a Manger isn’t fast food? It’s got locations in lots of European Countries.
    Dodopizza is in Türkiye for a couple years already
    And I pretty much doubt that there is a Hesburger in Russia
    Map is outdated, stop posting shit
  6. I thought Costa Coffee belonged to a middle eastern country cause there are so many of those in the Middle East…
  7. Puta pit?!?? Tf is that, here in sweden it’s max burgers. Stop posting things that are categorically incorrect
    Of those that are allegedly in the UK, the only ones I’ve seen are Costa and Nando.
    I miss Tim Hortons. I don’t know why it left the U.S. in my region, particularly in Minnesota area. The one in my town was replaced with another donut shop and it was trash.
    I am really missing those glazed sour cream timbits.
  11. What about Pret a Manger? I see it everywhere I go in Europe. It’s difficult to walk 3 blocks without passing one.
  12. No Greggs is an affront to everything that is British. If I remember correctly there are more Greggs across the UK than McDonalds.
  13. I wonder why Boost decided to expand to the Baltics instead of the bigger markets in western Europe.
    Wtf Is ”pita pit”? This is incorrect… the second biggest fast food chain in Sweden is Max Hamburgare (Swedish) – McDonalds being the biggest
  15. As a Romanian I have never heard of Dodo Pizza. I guess it only exists in 2-3 big cities.
  16. Tim Hortons is something else.
    I’ve never had it in the States, but I’ve had it in Bagram, AF, and even then, those donuts were amazing. They LOOK like Dunkin, but taste WAY better.
    I can only imagine how good they are in CA!
