Besides California, all of their towns existed for hundreds, if not, over a thousand years before the American knock-offs.

  2. Let’s try it for Quebec if you can’t afford France: Laval, Verdun, Nantes… there is a village in France named Montreal. Bonus New England : Le Maine is a region in France.

  3. We got a Cambridge in Ohio and Chester in West Virginia, although i can guarantee they are nicer towns in the UK

Didn’t even realize the town names at first, thought the joke was just taking as long of a drive as possible

I always find it funny Anchorage is included on this as it’s a building not a place.

  6. Looks like a great trip! Publish your itinerary and hotels! I will come US and copy you!!!

  7. The second Peterborough is in Ontario, Canada. The one in the US is, like, 6,000 people.

  8. And with that amount of driving, it would simulate going a little over 1/3 of the distance between New York and Los Angeles!

  9. Or when you heed the science and decide that jetting across the world is actually the same as steeling the future of those that came/will come after you? So well done for staying home

I know it’s shows my ignorance, but to be honest I really didn’t realize it only takes 15 hours to drive across the entire country.

  11. Bonus: Washington is where George Washington’s family is from, and they have plaques and parades in his honor.

  12. York, Bath and Oxford are all towns in my Home State of Maine. We also have Mexico, Paris, Poland and China… We also have an island that’s a desert too.

Out of curiosity, how much would this cost in gas/petrol? At this point, it’s actually cheaper to book a flight and accommodations in Europe than it is to do a road trip across the states.
