Hi! My Family a couple generations ago emigrated from Lithuania. When this happened they were forced to change their traditional last name to something easier to pronounce in order to be able to work in America. I have always been curious about my family’s history involving Lithuania and on the back of some old family portraits was our families original last name, Suipsinskas. Now that’s what I read, I have no idea if there were accents that the artist just didn’t write down. Would anyone have an idea of how to pronounce it? ( I will add a photo of the note left on the drawing. It was very cool to read. The first drawing is of my great great grandparents and the other one was of my great uncle John. )
