Another “small-government” Republican government using its power to suppress private enterprise.

Wow, there’s enough people who are literate in arkansas to file a lawsuit!? Incredible, was it written in crayon or did they spring for off-brand sharpie markers from the local dollar general?

Out of all the websites they could have sued for this, I would have thought that YouTube would barely reach the top ten.
Edit: In the article it states they have already sued Tiktok and Meta for a similar thing and those cases are still pending.

The lawsuit wages that YouTube is made to be addicting especially toward youths. I think this is pretty objectively true, but is also true of Tiktok and Twitter and every other social media.
Honestly, I’d like to see it succeed and lead to more regulation. Of course there’s a level of personal and parental accountability involved in these things, but social media and internet addiction is at an all time high and we can’t dismiss the effects these sites have on us.

Arkansas needs to be sued for giving it’s residents mental health issues. Living in Fort Smith and Van Buren sucked gigantic donkey balls ):

I think there’s probably merit to the argument. I wonder why Democrats are so quiet on this issue.
Why does the standard bearer for internet decency have to be right wing snot balls?
