I wouldn’t be surprised if this is a combination of a few people who had issues with the girl (hence the luring and disappearance of her “best friend”), but the larger crowd is from people invited to watch/film for social media likes.

I really hope this gets public attention and that the perpetrators all face some serious repercussions. This is disgusting and one of those cases where I wish youth offender protections weren’t around. Naming and shaming is honestly the only recourse of consequence we have these days when our court systems seem to not care about broader public good.
I’ve not seen video, but have seen pictures and read that there were around 30 people who saw what happened.
How would a person stop that level of bullshit? Without a weapon, which would be problematic for you, you cannot defend against 30. If you had a weapon and hurt one of these fuckers, you’re probably the one who’s fucked. What are you supposed to do here? Such a messed up situation all around.
