      This is Pence-Harris in 2020 all over again. The needle isn’t going to move in a material way but voters will appreciate Walz’s more direct and detailed policy answers. The rest is all noise.

      It’s interesting how these threads are one of the few intersections for a number of people on reddit who otherwise reside in entirely different spaces.

      As for the debate itself? The words may sound boring but the policy positions (which people don’t like exhausting themselves paying attention to) are clear. And while Vance may SOUND like he’s making sense, the words that he is saying are both dangerous and unamerican.

      Vance defending concepts of a plan as being subject to bipartisan scrutiny and consensus is a bit disingenuous because you can say that about anything.

      I’m not a housing expert but isnt the obvious answer is whoever buys these newly bought home be mandated to live in them and not treat it as potential income in some capacity ie renting them out or flipping them out?

      Means testing based on your burden to the system would overwhelmingly affect people with preexisting conditions. Vance is lying.

      “Price transparency”. “This drug costs 5 dollars to make, but we will charge 800 dollars for it”. The bit that Vance forgot is “We will also institute zero regulations to control said prices”.
