A week ago, Zelensky's appealed to the Global South to force Russia into peace.

Do you think his case would have been strengthened if he had made a mention of what Israel is doing to the Gazans/Palestine?

Many in the so called Global South are more likely than not to support the Palestinian cause and yes, Zelensky's cannot attack Israel, a very important ally of the country which has supported Ukraine in resisting Russia.

However I wonder if it was possible to chart a path in his speech to link his country's suffering, with the suffering of Palestinians (specifically the civilian casualties) as means to get support from the Global South.

It's not easy but do you think it was possible and did he miss a chance?

ps: this post isn't about the Israel/Palestine issue and who is doing what/who is right/who is wrong etc, I want to focus on Ukraine.
