NOBODY finds any of the shit Tories say funny or “jokey”. How have they not worked this out yet….

  2. This whole “badass intellectual woman” self-image she’s trying to project is so fucking cringe. The sort of personality you have to warn your friends about before coming to a dinner party.

    > Kemi Badenoch has been accused of stirring up a culture war after claiming 5-10% of civil servants are “very bad” and “should be in prison”.

If we are talking about groups where a large proportion should be in prison we need look no further than Tory MPs. Bunch of thieving corrupt parasites

“It was just a prank bro!” says every idiot YouTuber when they get arrested and apparently also a tactic now favored by a leadership hopeful for a major political party.

Oh, look, another unhinged batshit crazy wannabe Tory leader. Who’d have ever thought.

  6. Yeah this is a small part of why I left. There’s no way to feel less valued as a professional than working for the civil service.

For all the self-publicised branding and media fluffing of her “super intelligent, smartest women in the room” bullshit out there, she seems to have a remarkable knack for opening her gob and making a constant fool of herself.

The issue with narcissistic types like Badenoch is their ego and ambition exceed their intelligence, add in the “I always speak my mind!” loud mouth arrogance then you have a recipe for a disaster with a sloppy politician making moronic PR gaffes and getting into needless fights.

Considering that this lot are very clearly trying to emulate somebody across the pond who says this kind of shit and isn’t joking, coupled with the fact that parliament is Supreme and there’s no codified constitution meaning less guardrails in this country if people with dictatorial tendencies like this get into power here, this should be taken very very seriously.

Three days running now where she’s said something utterly stupid and failed to back it up.

    – The “not all cultures are equally valid” gaffe.

    – Questioning maternity pay

    – And now this – calling on Government employees to be imprisoned.

Each time she’s pressed to expand on what she means, she’s gets incredibly aggressive and hostile.

What should’ve been a stroll in the park for her during this freak show Tory leadership content is endanger of fizzling out before the final two are announced.

Authoritarians love purging the civil service and replacing them with their own loyal ideologues. She may joke about it, but it is often the first thing fascists do when they get into office to solidify their rule.

  11. If she wins the Tory leadership every Labour MP will have to enter it on the register of gifts because she makes the conservatives look like the fucking joke they are.

  12. How can you have time to think of jokes when there’s important thinking to be done about how to redirect as much tax paid by the working class, away from the needy and into your greedy, gaping pockets? Torys, chortle.

  13. A week ago I thought she was someone that genuinely believed her conservative principles even if I disagreed with them. Every day now she has said something increasingly fucking stupid and unhinged

Nice to see such respect for civil servants from politicians.

Honestly what is her game plan here? Between this, the maternity pay and minimum wage debacle from the past few days alone(!), she is just coming off as rude, abrasive and not someone I would have any respect for…
