  1. Conservative US politics has always been a clownshow. Ever seen that video of the senator talk about how wind turbines are going to end the world because they’re stealing all the kinetic energy from the air that it needs to move? They’re absolutely known for talking out their asses and saying whatever they think their voterbase wants to hear.

Liberal politics do the same thing but not to the same extreme. They don’t say wildly and provably false stuff like that on a regular basis.

  2. If I were an alien there’s no way I would be walking around down here. It would be like us hoping the fence at a zoo exhibit

When senior intelligence officers are testyfying to congress that there’s a secret UFO crash retrieval program that’s being illegally funded, it’s important for congress to investigate. Dismissing it outright is unscientific.

If they are not the ones from “When the Earth stood still”, I’m not interested.

  5. People of so vastly uninformed about how far unfathomably far apart things are in space.

  6. The science doesn’t support extraterrestrial visitation given our current understanding of physics. The sheer distances involved in space travel and the limitations of speed of light travel makes ET visitation extremely unlikely. Also, the ability of any government to keep such a program and “evidence” a secret for decades is unlikely. Again, keeping an open mind, it’s not impossible but very unlikely. I think the likelihood there are many types of life in this universe is great but the capabilities of travel over light years with earth as a destination seems implausible. I don’t believe any earth based government has access to any verified extraterrestrial beings, technology or craft. What is more interesting is the possibility that governments have found usefulness in floating these myths and that is worth considering investigating.
