The headline makes it sound like he just cut his own tax and no one else’s.

  2. Good to see the tax base being narrowed even more with the USC cuts. This will surely be an improvement.

My fianceé, who earns 56% less than I do, got less than 25% of the tax cut I’ve gotten. Something very wrong there. I wouldn’t consider that successful tax reform, at least not objectively. FG voter base in particular will be happy I suppose.

  4. Reading it I realise that it annoys me that they say stuff like “we will be spending 15 billion on transport infrastructure”, I’d prefer if they said “we will build….” then listed the projects because the figure means nothing given their recent expenditures.

  5. Honestly – cannot even watch them deliver the budget. FG/FF sicken me to the pit of my stomach with the little pre-election breadcrumbs. Years ago I would have been glued to it.

I’d prefer if we had top class public services, housing and money wasn’t being transferred hand over fist to party donators via nefarious contracts.

They disgust me and I for one, will certainly will not be bought like this.

  6. BBC article, if you were over in the UK you’d be pretty miffed reading that headline vs whats forecast for them soon in their own budget.

Listening to this utter shite on the radio this morning, they’ve successfully gaslighted an entire country into believing we’re all well off. The absolute bollocks being spouted, how young people will now have hope for their futures by this governments actions. Build fucking houses then and stop making excuses.

  8. I expected fall all and got even less. Besides the odd one-off credit here and there, this is just another subpar budget from the usual subpar government.

  9. One piece of solace is the Brits reading that on BBC and seething due to their own shite situation
