I recently moved into a new apartment and I am not sure how the heating system works. I found this Viessman thermostat in the living room but I thought it is only for the shower since I have the viessman boiler in the kitchen and it works when I turn on the hot water. It’s pretty cold in the apartment right now and I want to know if this thermostat is for radiators as well. Cause in my previous apartment it was just central heating so I didn’t need to do anything special except turn on the radiator. So I’m afraid to touch it since I don’t know its purpose. Help!

you push the + button until it says 22 degrees or so and it gets warmer.
I don’t know exactly your setup, but it worked like this in my old apartment: The thermostat on the wall measured the room temperature and started the heating, once it dropped below the set temperature. Additionally, I also needed to open the radiators, so they could start heating. So if either system were turned off (thermostat on a cold temperature or radiator turned off) the heating would not work.
Maybe you will find a manual for your thermostat online or you could just ask your landlord how it works.
20.6°C is “pretty cold”?
It might be you have to switch the boiler into heating mode. Open your radiators and then you can regulate the room temperature with that thing.
I guess this is the manual: https://static.viessmann.com/resources/technical_documents/DE/de/VBA/5581466VBA00001_1.pdf?#pagemode=bookmarks&zoom=page-fit&view=Fit
Since there is a little flame on the display I think it’s already trying to heat.
you also might want to change the language of the thermostat from Polish.
Thanks a lot everyone! It’s working and radiators are warm 🙂
