  1. I heard last week that Berlin is trialing this system from Hamburg in a few stations.

    Very interesting, apparently they’re using photo sensors to detect the type and number of carts, as well as the level of occupancy.

  2. Really, they should show how many Oma’s are in that section, closing all the windows so everybody can get Covid.

  3. The Stadler KISSes have them inside when you get on. Shows the whole train and four people symbol below each section. And if I observed it correctly then it only shows when the train is on the station

  4. We’ve had this in Santiago (Chile) in the metro network for 9 years now, they’re pretty freaking amazing and really convenient

  5. I am not sure how this is more important than being on time.

    I don’t remember getting frustrated over finding less crowded couch, but definitely had stressed out because of cancelled train. What is more interesting is they didn’t offer a refund, because missing the train meant for me I had to go back home.
