Where did akordai.org go?

Hi, I just recently noticed that akordai.org the page became unavailable. This means that a large chord base, which contained a lot of guitar chords, has disappeared and is unlikely to be restored. I don’t even know how to find the owner. I was looking for a long time ago, but never managed to get in touch.

Knowing that no one updates the page (the page is not mobile friendly, the design has not changed for 15-20 years) 5 years ago, I started developing my guitar chord database on wordpress manoakordai.lt . At first there were up to 30 guitar chords. This is a very small number, plus it was not very convenient, because the page did not have the ability to transpose them – that is, to change the tonality of the song. Plus, when playing, the atoscroll function was very necessary, which automatically scrolled the song so that you don’t have to scroll with your fingers while playing.

These features cost me several hundred euros. In addition, the programmers additionally made it possible to see its guitar diagram by clicking on each chord, which immediately makes playing easier, because you don’t have to google it. Currently, I have already uploaded my selected 170 songs with guitar chords. Of course, I think it is little.

Those of you who play the guitar, I strongly encourage you to join the page and help expand the database. I’m alone, so I only add to the range of songs as I pass by. And you have to do that constantly.

And such a page is often useful for me, because sometimes I want to play in a company with a guitar or piano and I don’t remember all the chords, so I use what I created myself. I also see more and more users.

Ps put a few ads that are not annoying, just to buy back the hosting and domain a bit. I’m not talking about investments anymore.

Don’t change the design too much, I think it can be better. Also, some of the chords may not be exactly right, so please let me know if you notice any. If you have any comments, I’d love to hear them.
