  1. Can anyone recommend good videos, articles, or books on the ROK’s authoritarian past? I’m fascinated by the country’s bumpy journey towards becoming a democracy. 

  2. I don’t know about the tanks, but for APCs, drafted soldiers drive the vehicles, and there are A LOT of barely competent soldiers behind the wheels. so keep some distance from them and try not to drive side by side with them. just in case.
