20-year-old Indonesian man arrested on suspicion of non-consensual sexual intercourse.

An Indonesian national was arrested on suspicion of assaulting a woman in her 20s and having sexual intercourse with her, causing her injuries, in Higashikagawa City, Kagawa Prefecture, earlier today (29th). The man, an Indonesian national and a technical intern trainee living in Utazu Town, was arrested on suspicion of inflicting injury by non-consensual sexual intercourse and breaking and entering.

According to the police, the man is suspected of entering the residence of a woman in her 20s in Higashikagawa City at around 1:00 a.m. today (29th), assaulting her by pressing her mouth and arms with his hands, and having sexual intercourse with her, causing a two-week injury to her chest.

The man was acquainted with the woman, and an acquaintance of the woman reported the incident to the police. The man admitted to the police that he entered the woman's room without permission.
