South Korea criminalized any internet pornography a long time ago. Any attempt to view porn in the country is interrupted by a government splash screen advising you that it is against the law.
So how is this news?

I agree with the criminalization of creating/distributing AI manipulated deepfake photos, but I do not agree with the act of the criminalization of possessing or **looking** at those photos due to the fact that AI is progressing at a rapid pace, soon, we will not be able to tell that something is AI generated, if we aren’t already there.
