  1. I’m not fan of Lammy, but I imagine his inbox filled up pretty quick 2 months ago. It’s easier to concentrate on individual issues when you’re not actually in power.

  2. “Sanaa told The Independent: “He was once our champion. He was our guy. He knew every detail. Now we are not so sure. Mr Lammy will not even meet with us. It is unacceptable.”

It is almost as if he had a promotion and no longer has time to champion individual causes.

  3. He’s too busy writing substacks calling ethnic cleansing of Christians ‘liberation’ and bending the knee to Hamas.

He conveniently became a British citizen in 2021 whilst being detained. He was born and raised in Egypt and never lived in the UK, but he wants to use his right to British citizenship to use the UK GOV to fight his cause.

Does he and his family not realise his actions in Egypt would also see him imprisoned in the UK if he were to act the same way. Years and years of protesting and activism, charges of inciting violence, being in violent situations, and charged with torching former presidential candidate Ahmed Shafik’s campaign headquarters. Some of these claims may be ficticious, but I believe there’ll be some truth behind some of them.

Either way, the UK shouldn’t be responsible for someone who’s used the chance of getting citizenship for their own gain.

  5. So he’s scheduled to be released in 2 days and David lammy raised the issue with his Egyptian counterparts last week.

It’s almost as if he’s waiting to see if Egypt actually releases him before applying more pressure or something.
