  1. Look, many people told the truth about Trump before they saw the light. Of course, the light I’m referring to is the light of financial illumination that comes our way from various entities. It’s all legal, I uhm, assure you…as we would never engage in anything that was illegal or immoral. /s

  2. I imagine they hate each other and Trump massively regrets choosing him but now there’s no going back

  3. >“I know I could never support Trump if it really mattered. […] He’s just a bad man. A morally reprehensible human being.”

    >“Definitely some people who voted for Trump were racist and they voted for him for racist reasons.”

    >“Trump makes people I care about afraid. Immigrants, Muslims, etc. Because of this I find him reprehensible. God wants better of us.”

    >“I do [think he’s a total fraud that is exploiting these people] too. […] I don’t think he actually cares about folks. I think he just recognizes that there was a hole in the conversation and that hole is that people from these regions of the country, they feel ignored.”

    >“I’m definitely not gonna vote for Trump because I think that he’s projecting very complex problems onto simple villains.”

    >“I go back and forth between thinking Trump is a cynical asshole like Nixon who wouldn’t be that bad (and might even prove useful) or that he’s America’s Hitler. How’s that for discouraging?”

    >“At the heart of Trump’s immigration message is that if we had less immigration, we would have much better jobs. I think it’s a lot more complicated than that. My own sense is that Trump definitely simplifies these problems. I don’t think if you build a great Mexican wall, all of a sudden, all of these steel mill jobs are going to come back to southern Ohio, but it at least gives people something to latch onto.”

    >“Can you imagine running as an anti-AHCA populist who thinks Trump is a moral disaster? Where’s my constituency?”

    >”Trump is cultural heroin. He makes some feel better for a bit. But he cannot fix what ails them, and one day they’ll realize it.”

    >“There is definitely an element of Donald Trump’s support that has its basis in racism, xenophobia…”

    >“It’s not just that Donald Trump doesn’t speak to issues of special concern of minority voters or Black voters, it’s that he seems to like actively antagonizing a lot of the Black voters.”

    – JD Vance on Trump

  4. If trump wins his days are numbered, Vance is the clear pick of the tech bros and heritage foundation.

And he thinks trump has magically changed in 4 years? C’mon! He knew what he was getting into when he got on board. A proverbial titanic…only difference is everyone knows damn well they’re doomed, but yet they struggle to defeat the inevitable iceberg: trump’s own very large shortcomings, he’s an ignorant narcissistic pedophile racist. There’s nothing. Zero. Zilch good about him, He’s convinced he knows everything, everyone knows, including his own loyal ass kissers that he’s full of shit. You can’t dodge the proverbial iceberg that’s on board with you!

  6. The way I see if, Vance thinks Trump is like Hitler (his words) and Vance is 100% on board with that

Vance went from comparing Trump to Hitler to saying he was the greatest president of his life time.

  8. You can learn more about J.D. Vance that Musk doesn’t want you to know about here. (Scroll to the bottom for the pdf.)

I find the parts where he talks about how racist Trump is interesting (p. 81-83), and look at him now. Also interesting to learn that Bannon recommended he become head of the Heritage Foundation (responsible for project 2025) as well (p. 166).

In today’s Republican shit-show that is ‘politics’, previous words or statements, emails, tapes, ponderings, etc., simply don’t matter. You can say ‘they’re eating the dogs and cats’ yesterday and today you simply say ‘I never said that’. The base doesn’t know, doesn’t care, isn’t very smart, or just wants a dictator to smash other people’s rights (never their own, that would never happen). A more gullible or willfully hateful group of people have not existed since the dawn of time.

  10. More and more I get the feeling Vance is just there to declare trump unfit 6 months in, and then the Evangelicals have their lap dog on a leash with Vance.

A brilliantly written and accurate assessment of Trump. Thanks JD! Was selling your soul for peanuts really worth it?

  12. Vance is the actual candidate. Trump is baggage they have to deal with because of how stupid the base voters are.

  13. 2020. So he can’t pull the “yea, I called him Hitler but that’s only because the media brainwashed me” card like he did for his 2016 comments. Trump had four full years in office, in which time, Vance flip flopped and became a deepthroated supporter of Trump (just like Cruz, Rubio, etc. did). But, still, he said Trump thoroughly failed to deliver.

Why is he now saying Trump was successful and that everything was amazing when Trump was president? I mean, it’s obvious why. He’s the VP pick. But come on, dude. He’s gone back and forth more than Michael Scott’s “snip, snap, snip, snap” at this point.

  14. Wait, didn’t he say that the reason he no longer thought he was America’s Hitler was because he saw how effective he was during his presidency?

So, putting this together, he felt Trump wasn’t as effective as Hitler and thus lost the title. Which I guess was disappointing for him. He must think Trump will do a better Hitler with him at his side.
