How cringe and embarrassing it must be to lose the newest model of nuclear submarine.

>The attack submarine was … under construction at a shipyard near the city of **Wuhan.**
Wuhan is an inland city 460 miles from the ocean. That’s 100 miles further inland than Memphis is from New Orleans! How does this work? Did CNN mess it up? Do they barge them down the Yangtze River to port? (The River can be dangerously shallow around wuhan to let them self propel to the ocean).

…And not the way it was supposed to.

Ouch. That’s an expensive mistake. Someone’s gonna disappear.

Aren’t submarines supposed to sink?

I mean, that seems like a design principle..

on the other hand, claiming your submarine sank is a good way to make people think they don’t need to be looking for your submarine anymore….

That’s a dilemma for the Chinese. If they uncloak it now, everyone will know something’s up.

It’s just a very long-term dive. It’ll be coming back up any day now
