  1. It’s very standard procedure to brief the papers on an extreme policy just so you can later deny it. At this point you don’t even need to be paying attention to see them doing it. No doubt intended to draw attention from the other shit they’re doing

  3. It’s not that long ago that pubs in Australia closed at 6pm to prevent drinking. If certain people get in power, liberty gets chipped away.

  4. That’s a shame. I was hoping they would do it and go further, restricting off license sales too.

    UK pubs used to close between 3pm and 5.30 pm so you could go home to check the kids were alive before going back on the drink.

  6. I thought Starmer already said its time to bring back the sausages? What else can that mean but sausage and chips at the pub.

  7. The media hate, HATE the fact that Labour are boring and they are now struggling to generate cheap content and engagement off the backs of the Tory circus, so now they are pushing out these non-stories. Ridiculous stuff from a lot of the media.
