And if anyone thinks that one EC vote isn’t important think about this. If the election results came in the way the 538 polling averages are as of today other than Nevada breaking for Trump instead of Harris; with that one EC vote in Nebraska Harris wins 270-268. If that vote for the Omaha area went to Trump it’s a 269-269 tie and Trump would win because the House is in Republican hands.

It’s a possibility that it could affect the election, but it’s just that, a possibility. The likelihood of blowback is far worse, and not just to Trump. Going forward, the GOP should be far more interested in more states adopting the Nebraska model than abandoning it, and they know that.
