Biden, Harris to meet Zelenskyy next Thursday The White House says US President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris will hold separate meetings with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on September 26.

The announcement on Thursday said both meetings will take place at the White House.

Zelenskyy had said last month that he would present Biden with a plan for ending the war with Russia.

They are also likely to discuss Ukraine’s request for the lifting of restrictions on the use of long-range weapons provided by the United States and European countries. Kyiv has repeatedly asked for permission to use those weapons for attacks on Russian territory.

Zelenskyy also hopes to meet with former US President Donald Trump.

The Ukrainian president is expected to ask the Republican and Democratic presidential candidates to continue the US support for Ukraine.
