  1. Donald Trump doesn’t know how to stop [the war in Ukraine](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/russia-ukraine-war/), despite claiming he could end it on his first day as US president, Volodymyr Zelensky has said.

In his harshest criticism yet of the Republican presidential nominee, the Ukrainian president also described [Trump’s running mate JD Vance](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/us/politics/2024/09/15/jd-vance-create-springfield-pet-eating-immigration/) as “dangerous” and “too radical”.

“His message seems to be that Ukraine must make a sacrifice,” Mr Zelensky said of Mr Vance in an [interview with the New Yorker magazine](https://www.newyorker.com/news/the-new-yorker-interview/volodymyr-zelensky-has-a-plan-for-ukraines-victory) before he flew to the US to present his “Victory Plan” to the White House this week. “But I believe that we have shielded America from total war.”

Mr Vance has been criticised by supporters of Ukraine for [pushing a peace deal that consolidates the Kremlin’s control](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2024/07/20/our-existence-depends-on-us-election-result-ukrainian-mp/) over captured territory.

Mr Zelensky said such a deal would disrespect the sacrifices that Ukrainian soldiers have made, appease Vladimir Putin and encourage other dictators to invade their neighbours.

“Whichever president or vice-president raises this prospect, that ending the war hinges on cementing the status quo, with Ukraine simply giving up its land, should be held responsible for potentially starting a global war,” he said.

Mr Zelensky added that he had held more “positive” conversations with Mr Trump who he said had promised to continue to support Ukraine’s military.

Ukrainian officials have said they are concerned Trump would turn off the supply of [weapons Joe Biden has approved for Ukraine](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2024/09/04/ukraine-russia-war-latest-news23/), in an attempt to force Mr Zelensky to negotiate with Putin.

But the Ukrainian president insisted Putin could not be trusted and [Trump, despite his public stance](https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2023/03/04/trump-gets-rapturous-reception-major-us-republican-conference/), would not be able to strike a quick deal to end the war.

“My feeling is that Trump doesn’t really know how to stop the war even if he might think he knows how. With this war, oftentimes, the deeper you look at it the less you understand,” he said.

Trump knows how to end the War by giving everything Putin wants. All 4 Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions. Thats the stable genius concept of a plan to end the War.

  4. The amount of corruption in Ukraine should preclude them from receiving more aid. Over half of the aid is unaccounted for at this point.

  5. Trump has “concepts of a plan” regarding healthcare in his home country. I seriously doubt he has any concept that doesn’t include Ukraine giving up their lost territory.

Somewhere in the hell that is the meatwave offensive there is a group of really mad russian soldiers. They will form a soviet, shoot the blocking troops, and put on the red star. That mutiny will be put down. But the living dead will try again, and with enough tired of the suicide of the russian army, the war will end like in 1917. Then the soviets will shoot the officers and march north to Moscow. The Czar awaits his fate in **Timișoara**. And the fate of the Romanovs awaits his children. That cold fear should be what keeps Putin awake in the dead arctic night that is coming, and the cold that awaits the people when the energy complex falls apart. And the Chinese are simply in there to grab some pieces that fall in their laps, and still sell the west anything they want to fill their empty apartments.

In short, we have not seen a modern country fall to exhaustion in this century, but it is getting closer.

I would be very careful of what I share with trump. This guy is a traitor, a Russian asset, absolute back-stabbing low life criminal who will use exactly everything you tell him against you.

  8. Zelensky must stay away from Trump as he will lose the election for sure. Whatever secrets he reveals to Trump, he quickly will rush to tell Putin his plans. Probably Zelensky knows this.

If Biden doesn’t authorize long range strikes, then Trump asking them to concede might save more lives in the end. Ukrainians could be safe in the land that they still hold, albeit with a hurt national pride. I would assume that the remaining land could be protected with security agreements by the US and/or Europe. The alternative is Ukraine continues to fight Russia with Biden holding Ukraine down while Russia grinds them down. The more Biden is scared of “escalation”, the more he is giving a lay-up straight to Trump.

When JD heard this he was visible excited and they had to tell him, “No, Mr. Vance, not that kind of radical.”
