Putin doesn’t want peace, he needs this war to stay in power.
He has started conflicts before when he is losing his grip on Russia.
Now with the amount of dead Russian soldiers, he is even more nervous when it comes to his hold on the country.

  2. Russia is such a joke!!! They should start their own peace conference with North Korea and Iran….

  3. *Putin’s main goal is not to establish peace in Ukraine but to force its capitulation and strip it of its independence.*

*This is precisely why the provisions of previous “peace agreements,” as well as those proposed now, contain clauses that are either impossible to implement or are interpreted differently by the parties involved.*

Not surprising because Russia wants to continue the illegal invasion of Ukraine. Western countries must increase their delivery of weapons to Ukraine so that they have the resources to defeat Russia and kick them out of Ukrainian territory.

  5. Putin hate seeing reality. He’d rather prefer to immerse himself in a dream world where the world revolve around him and not the other way around.

  6. Oh fuck you. You don’t want peace. your pathetic country runs on being in War or having some type of opponent

  7. There’s no value they can add to world peace until they change their ways and make restitution to those they have harmed and killed.

    > Russia has announced it will not participate in any future iterations of the Swiss-hosted peace summit held in June, labeling the process a “fraud,” Russia’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said on Sept. 21.

    So they finally admit it.

  9. Just untie the hand behind their back and let them do what they do best…give them all the permissions they need…let them win this war with honour 🇺🇦🇬🇧🇺🇦🇪🇺🇺🇦🇺🇸🇺🇦🫶🏻😎🙏

  10. It’s not really surprising considering that the previous summit was mostly just a summit of pro-Ukriane countries. Why would Russia attend the next one when the likey result would just be countries piling on more criticism and anger on Russia and no one actually achieving any peace.

Both sides want it all and have said they won’t give up anything. At best it would be two sides butting heads, at worst the majority just yelling at Russia and telling them to go home with no real deals or anything being accomplished.

Until someone is willing to give up something (or anything), peace will not be achieved in a conference room, and will have to be achieved on the field of battle. Neither side is currently in a position to demand unconditional surrender, neither side is in a position to demand the borders are recognized the way they want to draw them.

Russia: “The first peace summit is invalid because we weren’t invited!”
Ukraine: “OK, then you’re invited to the next one.”
Russia: “Fuck you, we’re not coming.”

    Make it make sense.

  12. Which means ‘my way, coz there ain’t no highway‘. The usual Russian conciliatory approach to negotiations.

  13. Putin just wants to prolong this as much as possible and the longer Western nations drag their feat not allowing Ukraine strike anywhere in Russia and use any means necessary to defend their country, the higher the chances Ukraine will lose in the long run.

  14. It’s ok, Hungary and Austria didn’t take part in the treaty summits following WWI loss; they were given treaties to sign.

  15. It’s hard to find free time when you’re busy committing war crimes. I hope we get our hands on that smug little fuck someday.
