They signed a contract with the Russian military, the contract was in Russian which none of them understood.
There was a case like that with a danish guy aswell. he moved to Russia, his visa was about to expire so he decided to sign a Russian military contract that he didn’t understand because it was in Russian.

They are not Russian citizens, they had no obligation to enlist.
No one made them go to Russia. They knew what Russia was doing, They chose to go there anyway, they chose to join the war in one way or another whether its an army for citizen thing, or a mickey mouse PMC. That is way more agency than the average russian or ukrainian person has.
I have absolutely zero sympathy for any of these people , I dont care if they are American, Indian, Ghanan. If you go there and end up in a Russian trench, You made the decisions on your own that led you there. you deserve the bullet.
