  1. Infuriating. If I did something like that I would be in solitary confinement. But no, rich guy gets “Maybe we will send him a strongly worded letter.”

  2. Go Brazil and actually do shit or just shut up and bend over for the guy and stop pretending you have a spine. Nobody cares about your sternly worded notes.

  3. Failure to comply with the government should be ground for having your government contracts revoked. No taxpayer dollars for Elmo.

  4. Sanctioned? Meaningless. Bring the full force of righteous American justice to bear on this nepo baby once and for all.

Seen a Tesla today that has a bumper sticker on it that said ” I bought this before we knew Elon was crazy”. I thought it was hilarious and posted in r/Teslamotors and within one hour was permabanned from ever posting in there again. Wow… Didn’t realize it was an echo chamber of Elon fanboys in there

  6. How does this guy still have a security clearance, much less getting multi-billion dollar government contracts?

  7. For most of these criminals, it’s easier to break the law and pay the fine because of just how rich they are.

Its wild that we have now reached the “just ignore the legal system entirely” level.

His entire persona is now indistinguishable from the rapey villain of a 90’s teen romance.

I would settle for disbarred from Federal Contracts. It would force him to divest his companies.

  10. SEC might be the one institution more corrupt than Musk. They probably are just putting on a show to make it seem like they are doing their jobs.

  11. When you’re predicted to be a trillionaire in a few years, there are mighty few sanctions that can bother you – you could lose 99% of your worth and still be a billionaire.
