RFS less than halfway to hazard reduction burn target as bushfire season approaches

With conditions being so wet the RFS haven’t been able to do many burns, the real takeaway is to prepare your own properties as best you can;

>Inspector Shepherd has urged property owners to do “simple” jobs around the house to prepare for the bushfire season. 

>”There has to be some onus on private property owners to ensure that they’re reducing fuels on their own land,” he said.
