  2. This isn’t rhetoric. Trump is a threat to democracy and US national security. January 6th happened. Trump tried to overturn democracy. The world witnessed him doing [NOTHING for over 3 hours](https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-capitol-probes-season-finale-focus-trump-supporters-three-hour-rage-2022-07-21/) while his supporters threatened the lives of Congress.

Trump has even called for the [termination of the constitution](https://www.npr.org/2022/12/06/1141096473/mcconnell-trump-terminate-constitution).

I swear it’s like his supporters never even hear the things he says. Right wing media filters Trump so much that MAGA thinks he’s a normal guy.

Trump built a political career by taking advantage of our weaker minded family members & neighbors. When you play with crazies, you’re playing with fire. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills.

  3. Did he manage to say all that with a straight face? Telling his opponents to not treat Trump and Vance as the weirdos that they are? Of course, as somebody on Trump’s side, he would suggest they treat Trump as a normal opponent, instead of as a danger to the country as it currently stands. Look at what happened with Boeing after he defederalized aircraft inspections. The same is happening with pork inspections. The deregulation that Trump would like (and has already done) is troublesome and scary.

We’re literally seeing the consequences of Trumps rhetoric. He’s being attacked not by the other side but by people who supported him and even voted for him. The Rhetoric needs to be toned down for sure, the crux of it is on the guy instigating it in the first place. Combined with absolutely nothing being done about our gun problem by the same people freaking out right now and I just… “I really don’t care, do U?”. Trump has been FA for a long time and he’s starting to FO.

  5. The right are all tripping over their dicks to blame the left *while patently ignoring that the call is coming from inside the house*!

Fuck anybody who points at the truth, being told by Dems while ignoring the reality of trump, spewing more violent rhetoric toward his own countryman than any presidential hopeful in history.

  6. you can’t fix stupid, its republicans turning on Trump and its republican supporters and voter how are shooting at Trump. Look at a list of people who have testified against Trump, 98% are republicans!

  7. Patient-Extreme-1170 on

This non-point could be upgraded to a “shitty point” if it were there was ANY evidence that either shooter was motivated by any democrat’s statement. Instead, the evidence we have indicates they were radicalized by insane MAGA statements.

Fascists lie in this specific, identifiable manner – they accuse you of the thing they are doing.

Couldn’t be more outlandish to have the GQP develop lame ass campaign strategies to blame everyone for telling the truth about the obese, makeup wearing, king of the dummies😂🤡😂💩 it seems they believe that media manipulation is the key to success but they just need to have buttstain Jesus STFU and just go to prison where sad criminals belong!!!

  9. > Todd concedes that Trump can be undisciplined, but he urged Democrats to campaign against him like a normal candidate instead of one who has been indicted in federal court and Georgia for attempting to subvert the 2020 election and had called for the “termination” of the Constitution because he lost.

Sounds like our message is finally being heard. Sounds like Republicans in Power getting mighty nervous.

Tit For Tat. We Won’t Go Back.

  10. > Todd argued that Democrats should focus more on Trump’s policy proposals

It’s hard to focus too long on the “concept of a plan.”
