  1. Great, problem 1 solved. Now all they have to do is make trains affordable and then I may consider using them for long distance intercity journeys over driving.

    In lithuania, a train driver Average Annual Salary is 12,240 EUR.

    This deal makes train driver average base pay £69,000 (and probably £100k for most after overtime).

    Should we just open our borders to any qualified lithuanian train driver, offer to pay them £30k (triple their existing salary), and make a 1 week conversion course to let their qualifications transfer to here?
