Yesterday there was already a victim in Puglia, a firefighter swept away by water during an intervention, today and for another 24/48 hours the bad weather should mainly affect Emilia Romagna, Marche and part of Tuscany.
At the moment the most critical situation seems to be in the town of Modigliana (Forlì-Cesena), where some torrents have invaded the city centre and some neighbouring towns.
The Senio would have broken at Castel Bolognese, the Rio Maggiore at Borgo Tossignano and the Zena at Botteghino di Zocca.
Critical situations are being reported in a large part of the region and many people have been evacuated due to ongoing emergencies or as a precaution. An emergency embankment is being built in Faenza.
I remember that to have an overview of the current critical issues and forecasts from the Emilia Romagna region you can use the site https://allertameteo.regione.emilia-romagna.it/
We’re tired, boss.
