  1. >A network of county election officials in Georgia is strategizing behind the scenes to help Donald Trump in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

  2. When Harris wins MI, WI, PA, NM, NV it won’t matter what Georgia does. Of course Harris is winning MI, WI, PA, NM, NV, GA, AZ, NC.

  3. It is a clear seditious conspiracy that Georgia officials and Garland will smirk and shrug over.

  4. Maddow has an excellent breakdown of trumps strategy to use these people in the swing states, and simultaneously telling his supporters they don’t need to bother voting.

  5. I truly hope our agencies can handle this bullshit because fuck all is being said about it. Listening to these people scheming away is making me worried.

  6. Maddening that we live in a country where you aren’t taken into custody immediately and fast tracked through there legal system for this.

Everybody involved deserves jail. Not for just a couple years either.

  7. Why doesn’t Biden remove Garland and put someone else in there? This guy clearly works for the Republicans

  8. I am not condoning this, but I expect there will be bomb threats called in to polling places that vote heavy D in swing states.

  9. Why don’t these headlines specify “Trump republicans…” ?

Every time this fucking cult does bad shit they need to get a spotlight, connected with trump.

Media need to step up and do it’s job

Please tell me the October Surprise is that people who fuck with election interference go straight to jail. That they do not pass “Go”. That they do not collect $200.

  12. GA election officials want to be the referees of the election & and the score keepers. It won’t end well for them.

Nvm that these wannabe criminals have proly left mountains of evidence implicating themselves.

  13. > In the emails, members discuss how to combat scrutiny, in one case regarding a letter from a Democratic attorney warning officials against refusing to certify election results. Adams sent a different email under her Tea Party Patriots address with a meeting agenda including an item about a “New York Times reporter traveling to several counties in Georgia.”

I’m sorry, did the article end early? What are the consequences exactly of doing this? Oh, they were EXPOSED in the article? That’ll show ’em!

  14. Is this finally when we talk about trump’s leaked emails with enough seriousness that he’ll get repercussions? Or will the GOP be let off the hook yet again as the media tries to sane-wash this degenerate campaign initiative?

  15. Any proof that an election judge is planning on not accepting the actual results in front of them should be grounds to have them immediately removed from the process.

  16. So this should be enough evidence in these emails to bar them from being involved in elections and forbidden from being involved in government or public office.

  17. How is like not breaking news? Am I missing something? Why wouldn’t this be talked about everywhere right now as it’s just proof in the pudding of what we all fear- chaos, lies, insurrection that can come from this election because of things like this

  18. Just a reminder, prior to this all speculation of tampering was simply that, speculation. This is proof of intent to defraud an election. This means DOJ could start an investigation and question the conspirators.

Also, Marc Elias’ and his legal team fought beat Trump in 2020 on every case but one. Now the DNC and Harris/Walz have his team under retainer. People knew this would be coming.

  19. I find it disheartening that these people are actively trying to rig an election, but we don’t really do anything about it except talk/write about it.

It’s like they need to let it be on fire/burned down before action is/can be taken.

  20. This is why I don’t believe in conspiracy theories. Every actual attempted conspiracy has leaked almost immediately. It’s impossible for any sufficiently large group of people to form a conspiracy and pull it off with no one talking or leaking things about it. A small group, maybe for a bit, but anything on the scale required for most conspiracy theories would fall apart immediately.

  21. This is real. Republicans have recruited and trained tens of thousands of poll watchers to document voter fraud. It doesn’t have to be real fraud – suspicions or gut feelings will do … as long as it’s a paper trail they can take to the courts…. As “evidence”. This is why Trump couldn’t overturn the election in 2020 – no evidence. It might just be enough to cause chaos so states won’t certify their elections. It’s a coup in the works – they have already tested refusing to certify results in local elections in key swing states… the steal is underway and right under our noses. Republicans are snakes.

  22. A stark reminder that Trump is the symptom, not the disease. All of these conservatives are readily willing to overthrow the government for him. But they’ll also do it for the next demagogue.

For the next generation of voting, we will need to be on constant alert every 4 years to prevent this kind of bullshittery.

@fbi @doj. the American people want answers.

Our community is vast and diverse and we want these people associated with Trump to be held accountable and arrested immediately.

They tried it before and should have been arrested then as well.

    @fbi @doj

  24. Cool, so if this is known enough to be written about then these people should get some visits from law enforcement. Is anyone going to do anything but write a few articles about it? I personally think our democracy and the integrity of our elections is really important and this sure seems to be violating some laws so …..

  25. Meanwhile AG Garland sits in a dark basement somewhere with his hands on his ears singing la lal la la.
