Apparently the prosecutors confirmed that Kremlin was involved in this plot, although it’s unclear if this is Politico’s opinion or direct quote from the department.

Despite the claim in the title and body of this article, it’s noteworthy that the actual statement (unless I have missed something) by the Armenian govt never claims that Russia paid/trained these people, rather that the training was done on Russian territory
