Stands will need seating which will reduce the capacity
Croke park would be first in line for a extra stadium in Ireland
Im guessing England will get the slot left by Casement park

I have offered my back garden too.
It has about as much a chance of being picked as the pairc does…..

We’ve an election in a few weeks. Of course Michael says he wants the matches in Cork. First day back in the Dail I’d expect the Healy-Raes will be shouting and roaring demanding they are in Fitzgerald Park.

God forbid we’d consider developing a football ground to host a football tournament.

In a similar move. I would like to offer myself to scarlet Johanson in case her current thing doesn’t work out.

Just use Croke Park and the Aviva. They shouldn’t make people travel outside of Dublin.

I love the idea of the NI fans getting so mad at the redevelopment of Casement Park and having their political representatives do all they can to sideline the project so they don’t have to play their Euro Games there, only for them to have to travel down to Cork to play on their county pitch

Pairc Ui Chaoimh is not even a remotely suitable venue for a UEFA competition. They’ll have to bargain UEFA into temp seating, which they generally don’t budge on. Then they’ll have to redo the entire media area, the outside of the ground to make sure there are multiple routes for different supporters, space for the media convoy and the VIP section.
The VIP section isn’t the president of the Tipperary GAA or sponsors. We’re talking PMs, Presidents, Monarchs.
Lansdowne Road was built with all that in mind. Pairc Ui Chaoimh was built for a Munster final and concerts.
It highlights the ignorance of the politicians who proposed it.

I know folks here are shooting it down, but as someone who lives beside Casement and is fucked off at the usual unionist and british games, please do this even if its just to wind up the NI fans. No stadium, no home nation allotment. Please?
