    Project “Grandma’s Reddit Knitting Factory” is running very successfully


    A few weeks ago I made a post here about my knitting-mad grandma. I asked Reddit to send my grandma some wool in case anyone needed something warm to wear, so that my grandma would have something to do and could pursue her passion again (she didn’t know what to knit anymore) and at the same time lots of nice people would get something great to wear

    Since I was visiting again today, I thought I would give an update: The campaign worked, my grandma got lots of nice letters with packages and wool, she is overjoyed and is constantly proudly showing all her friends what she has created. A large pile for the homeless is already finished, as well as socks and lots of other things. We were a bit overwhelmed by requests, but the first ones should get their packages back soon. Thank you internet for all the great letters and packages, the whole thing was a complete success!

      Ich glaube das ist das süßeste und herzerwärmendste, was ich seit langem im Internet gesehen habe.

      Wenn man das Internet richtig nutzt, ist es eine richtig tolle Sache.

      Maga Idee am richtigen Ort zur richtigen Zeit und ab geht es.

      Wette das könnte man auch in ein paar Alten-/Pflegeheimen durchgehen, so dass die Menschen dort wieder Ziele haben und mit der Welt interagieren und was Tolles machen können und ehrlich gebraucht und gelobt werden.

      Denke wirklich, dass diese Idee weiter gesponnen (gestrickt) werden könnte und sollte und viele Menschen glücklich machen könnte.

      Ich liebe so süße alte Menschen mit tollen Werten einfach. Ich hoffe sowas stirbt nie aus und hoffe ich werde einmal auch so ein Opa.

      Ganz tolle Sache, aber bremse Sie etwas es soll ein schönes Hobby bleiben und wir alle haben Zeit zu warten. Nicht das Sie denkt Sie muss das alles in ein paar Wochen fertig haben. Finde die Aktion ganz toll und freue mich schon wenn das Paket kommt. Drücke Sie von uns allen ganz fest.
