Like this is fucking awful, but . . . she arrived in 2015 and **still** doesn’t speak English well enough to tell her story?
What the fuck?

I’ve worked away in a non English speaking country and if you didn’t speak that language you got paid the same sort of rate. It soon makes you learn……

Ah but it gave the person buying Made in Britain clothing a massive feeling of self-righteousness knowing that they’re not paying towards ‘slave wages’ in Bangladesh or Pakistan or wherever when the wages there once adjusted for cost of living are better than what the woman in the article was getting.

Such a benefit to the economy, why is she here? How does she benefit Britain by being here?
Why travel across the world to work for the same subsistence wage that you’d get in your home country if not to benefit from the social welfare this country provides ?
Why is the state subsidising these scumbag factory owners by subsidising their workers?

All terrible however you do have to wonder how our immigration system lets in a person who is over 50 years of age, can’t speak English and a skill set which seems to be using a sewing machine.

The level of anti-immigrant racism here is eye opening. Given her personal history I doubt she would have had the chance to learn English unless her husband allowed her to.

Arrived in the UK in 2015 at age 52 and couldn’t speak English and find work? I not sure what she was expecting and feeling dirty, like going back isn’t an option?

Are these the jobs leftists are talking about that they say natives refuse to do and we should import masses of immigrants for?
