For a lie that they admit finally was a lie.

Remind me again if this area had to deal with nonstop threats of violence before Republicans decided to make completely baseless and racist attacks on locals there?

Which rhetoric should we worry about again?

Edit: I forgot to add that their excuse was “you made me do it” for the lie.

  2. How long until the Gov becomes the target of these threats, I wonder? Keep pushing and he may have to state he’s not endorsing Trump.

  3. How dare Kamala the democrats continue to spew hateful remarks that are resulting in Bomb threats…. Oh wait that was Trump the same guy crying about hateful rhetoric.

Trump is a threat to democracy

And Trump’s campaign is supposed to visit Springfield? I’m sure he won’t hire a crowd of klansmen to applaud him and that genuine townsfolk will attend and welcome him with open arms.

  5. Just absolutely horrible. How people can look at Trump and Vance stoking this crazy theory that Haitians eat cats and dogs and still give them their vote doesn’t cease to amaze me.

  6. And it’s ***ALL*** the fault of trump and vance (and the assholes calling in the threats).

Do NOT let those motherfuckers into the White House! **HARRIS/WALZ 2024!!**

  7. I hate these people…seriously.

Did anyone catch MAGA guy, Rich Lowry, drop the N Word on Megyn Kelly’s podcast when talking about Haitians?

These people are all racist and if you vote for MAGA, guess what, you are also a racist.

  8. I feel like a broken record saying this, but in any other country, this is disqualifying. Someone who incites bomb threats against their own constituents shouldn’t even have a snowball’s chance in hell of winning an election.

  9. Even if they were eating pets (which they obviously fucking aren’t) what the hell does terrorizing a school accomplish??

  10. Bombs and bomb threats go hand in hand with the GOP. 16th Street Baptist Bombing. Look it up, they’ve been doing this kind of shit forever.

If this doesn’t turn Ohio blue idk what will.

Republicans did so much harm to one community in ONE WEEK and JD Vance tried to spin it as him helping.

Springfield Ohio shouldn’t even be in the news. It’s just a normal town. Local news for sure. International news? No.

The only flyover towns that get this much coverage are the ones that get hit by tornados.

  12. Think about this for a second: the VP candidate of a major party – a sitting US Senator from Ohio – has caused terroristic threats to be made against a group of his own constituents, and he continues to double down, making it worse every day.

We cannot be blind to these threats; the Republican party is now a party that calls for violence. It has been violent in the past.

It’s still 50 days until the election – how is our country preparing for a scenario under which Republicans lose the election? Are we willing to admit to ourselves that a major party is now a party of terrorists?

If we fail to prepare, we enter dangerious, uncharted waters as a nation.

  13. It’s insane that no one is willing to hold these two assholes (Trump/Vance) accountable. No, the calls aren’t originating here, but they created the issue to begin with. If they didn’t spew these abhorrent lies none of this would be happening.

Dewine should have been on the phone to trump telling that if he doesn’t retract then he will endorse Harris.

  15. As a native of Portland/Oregon still living here, this feels like an echo of 2020 and Trump and his people demonizing our city. The city became much less safe due to Trump’s influence, with conservative agitators flocking to the city to cause so much trouble. It has only slowly died down over several years.

So they’re totally fine with further terrorizing children at school with yet more threats to their lives, all in the name of calling attention to a made up story they’re weaponizing for political purposes. Cool, cool. It’s chilling to consider how much lower they still have to go bc these malignant sociopaths have no bottom.

Vote blue. Pretty please, with sugar on top.

  17. This shit is literally the end result of Trump & Vance’s racist lies to their dumbass cult. It’s what they want.

  18. The entire state of Ohio should be furious over this. It should cost Trump and Vance the staaa…aaand his numbers just went up in Ohio.

  19. Any Republicans gonna call out Trump and Vance by name for inciting domestic terrorism?

    Fuck no.

Yet Ohio will still go red unless we get unprecedented, record turnout in those few remaining blue-leaning precincts.

This is not okay, and I really hope they remember this on November 5th.

Our country isn’t a chessboard for Trump and Vance’s stories.

Haitian immigrants are welcome in my neighborhood in NYC.

My hometown’s high school received bomb threats and the FBI determined that it was originated from Russia. But with Trump openly asking for their involvement with election disinformation and his propensity to spread lies about Springfield,OH….its not surprising at all. Shame that so many Americans don’t see the treasonous behavior he exhibits

How do you explain this to the students? The President does not care about your safety, so has sent the proud boys after you. Ugh it makes me dislike his voters more and more very day.

  24. People who make bomb threats should be arrested. They won’t stop until they are physically unable to make the threats because they’re in prison.
