It’s massively important to know where the fuck this place is

This sort of behaviour was evident at another Dublin crèche about 10 years ago on the southside but have since cleaned up their act and are one of the most reputable childcare facilities now. I dare not suggest their names as have personal positive experiences with them for 2+ years.
Reading this is extremely hard for a parent to imagine. This behaviour is abhorrent and Indefensible. They should be named and shamed

Having worked in childcare in several different places in Ireland this is not surprising. I left after 2 days two different places I worked and I also know friends who worked in shocking places. Worst part is these places are still open and full!

So this will lead to criminal charges, right? ..right?!

Sick to my stomach thinking of how distressed these tiny kids have been in this shithole.
Honest to god we are crying out for some semblance of a well-regulated and affordable childcare system.

Honestly at this rate it would be cheaper and safer to pay mother’s to full time parent until they start school because this just keeps happening and it impacts a tiny child for life, abused by trusted caregivers. Or maybe I’m holding my 5month old daughter right now and in my feelings.

I’m actually fucking raging after reading this.
Why in the name of GOD did these scumbags do multiple years in college, possibly even Uni, go do the Job Experience while studying, complete your exams, apply and be accepted to the creche just to not want to do the job and literally torture children because of their distain for their chosen career path. It makes me feel sick

Can still remember been bullied into not spitting out onion soup in hopes and dreams creche in sligo back when I was a wee one. Not pocky before that but after that it got bad , along with undiagnosed autism ( due to my mother been bi polar and treating me like the help or a savant, which i was not), made sit in the corner, for about 4 hours till i got collected.
That’s about that for that situation and my two cents to it

Human society missed a trick when it came to womens’ liberation and equal access to the workforce. We should have used the doubling of the workforce to insist on part time becoming the standard, rather than simply doubling the amount of labour available for capital to exploit.
We literally could have ended up with a world in which both parents have ample free time to spend with their kids, non-parents also enjoy the benefits of a greatly enhanced work-life balance and a negligible drop in productivity seeing as the reduced working hours would have been offset by the massively increased labour force. There would be absolutely no need to pay strangers of questionable trustworthiness to look after family members for the vast majority of people.
Instead, we basically allowed everyone to be equally exploited by an increasingly cynical world which doesn’t actually care about people, and things like this are the end result. I’m genuinely convinced that a wide array of aspects of life would be so much better if we’d gone down this road.

[Irish Times (paywall)](https://www.irishtimes.com/ireland/social-affairs/2024/09/16/staff-suspended-over-treatment-of-children-at-dublin-creche/) broke the story first. Hugely distressing.
Does anyone know what creche this is?
