  1. It’s a commemoration pin for the international workers day, called “första maj”, for that year. Work, democracy, freedom.

  2. It used to mean power and freedom for the proletariat. Now it means open borders, cultural and demographic suicide, lbtq “rights” and all sorts of nonsense. The fact that this previously anti capitalist movement is now supported by global capitalists is the icing on the cake.

  3. It means you are now a communist 👉

(Just messing with you, I hope you enjoyed your stay, Minthon translated it right) 😁

This is the day that all workers have a day off to protest about things they dislike and want to change at their workplace. It’s a national holiday for protest against things like salary, working hours, work-time, overtime, sickleave a lot and anything they are not happy with. And if you are happy you have a day off to do what you want. But it’s like a Sunday so a lot of things are closed. We just call it first of may. Many unions are out that day with their members demonstrating, talking, educating people of their rights. Who are many in Sweden. 5 weeks paid holiday, paid sickleave until you are healthy, ( you can’t be fired for being sick or having kids. Even if it continues for ever) you can’t be forced to work more then 40h a week and if you work evenings and nights you get overtime pay and holidays twice your salary etc. You also have 15h free daycare for kids and if you work full time you pay like 100$a month förr childcare. Includes diapers breakfast lunch dinner fruits and snacks and that’s not chips but a sandwich, fruit, porridge, yoghurt or something. We don’t feed fat or unhealthy food on school or kindergarten. It’s real food not fried or fastfood. Once in a while pizza tacos or such. We protests if anything in our everyday life is not working for us. And we find out what people are unhappy with on may the first. A good good day❤️❤️ and most of our right comes from protests the first of may….
