  1. The fact that their campaign is expressing concern over NC is an indication of what their internal polling is telling them about the race there. But that isn’t exactly shocking news since the public polling is showing essentially a tie race in the state.

  2. It’d be even more hilarious if the shillbilly causes them to lose Ohio over spreading rumors that he knows are false.

    Really, responding to bomb threats and other stochastic terror incitements is not cheap, maybe Springfield should file a civil suit to collect for damages.

    Well, if Trump can’t win without North Carolina, maybe he should start brushing up on his BBQ preferences and Southern charm.

  4. Trump was in California the other day. lol

    What is this guy doing holding press conferences in states he will lose by 30 points? I think Trump is in denial.

    He’s campaigning in places that are likely going to vote blue such as Nevada. He’s literally doing a Hillary. Instead of campaigning in North Carolina and Georgia, he’s wasting time doing rallies in places where he can’t win.

  5. Polling next week is going to be wild. With Mr. Concepts and Vance spreading the crazy shit in Ohio and hospitals getting shut down should be interesting to see

  6. He should start a new conspiracy about NC Indians kidnapping and eating farmers horses with chicken curry, I’m sure that’ll help.

  7. This is the best tl;dr I could make, [original](https://www.nbcnews.com/news/amp/rcna171162) reduced by 69%. (I’m a bot)

    > GREENVILLE, N.C. – Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, said on Saturday that it would be "Very hard" for the Trump campaign to win in November if it does not hold on to North Carolina, a state former President Donald Trump won narrowly in 2020.

    > "It's very hard for us to win unless we're able to get North Carolina," the vice presidential nominee told reporters on the tarmac of the Pitt-Greenville Airport following an unannounced visit to a college football game.

    > North Carolina Gov. Roy Cooper, a Democrat, told ABC News in an interview on Thursday that if Harris wins his state, "She will be the next president of the United States because Donald Trump has no other path.”

  8. The EC is about 4 states. GA, NC, MI and PA. Trump has to win three of four. Harris needs to win any two.

    Oversimplified, but it’s a cheat sheet for the lazy.

  9. Oh wait, so does this mean that internal polling is telling us that there is a VERY high chance of Kamala winning NC?

    Holy shit if that is true.

  10. Unless Trump wins JD Vance’s political career is over. Like Pence he will be dropped by the GOP and overnight become an outcast. His wife will never forgive him for putting her through this terrible idea.

    Robinson is an absolute anchor in NC. People that might be on the fence about Trump are completely turned about by Robinson. I honestly think NC is going to go blue this time. And yes, it will be very very hard to win without it. Maybe don’t have an adulterous, anti abortion (but had abortions), self loathing black man as the governor candidate.

  12. Good news is Josh Stein is polling above the other idiot and Harris could very well take the state

  13. My wife and I moved here and my parents followed so there are four new Democrats.

    I will say you can feel it here.

    We just want to remind people to actually get out there, make sure their voices are heard, because the only way we lose this race is that people don’t turn out,” Vance said.

    No Republicans tend to lose if there is great turnout. That’s why voter suppression is one of their strategies

    Still waiting for state polls post-debate for Arizona, Georgia, Nevada and Pennsylvania.

    * Wisconsin – Harris +2
    * Michigan – Trump +1
    * North Carolina – Trump +3

    Electoral Map based on poll averages: Harris 276 – Trump 262

    I don’t think we’ll really get a good idea of the debate/Swift bump until later next week. No idea what effect there will be from the Pope’s both-siding.

    C’mon North Carolina! Make us proud to be Americans. Please vote and tell your friends to vote too!

  18. Everyone I’ve ever known from NC has been Republican. It does appear to be trending a bit bluer lately with the big cities growing in population, but there are so many red areas. Really hope it does go blue.

  19. Somebody needs to encourage Mark Robinson to give a big speech ASAP. And keep on giving big speeches. In each one, he’ll figure out some new group to offend.
