Russia’s Security Council has announced that a delegation led by former defense minister Sergei Shoigu met North Korean leader Kim Jong Un in Pyongyang on Friday.
The council said the delegates discussed bilateral and international issues with North Korean officials.
Shoigu now serves as the council’s secretary.
