  1. Eras is an anagram of the perfect word to describe Trump so I can see why he wants it so bigly.

Hint: It starts with an A and ends with an E.

According to a recent Gallup analysis, young women are more liberal than they’ve been in decades and more politically motivated than past generations.

Team Trump has an excellent strategy here, please carry on.

  3. Whether you like Taylor or not, she has an amazing talent and a very dedicated and protective following. She very tactfully expressed her support for VP Harris. She did not say Trumps name, nor did she insult him, she express her feelings and reasoning for her decision. For Trump’s supporters and surrogates to attack her is the highest level of stupidity.

  4. A lot of people think of Swifties as being tweens aand teens, but in reality it’s tweens to elders. This includes a lot of adults that are quite savvy with social media. They messed up big time with this one.

  5. I work for the state where I’m at and have had fathers calling for their daughters needing to know how they are able to vote. One I could hear in the background telling her dad “I have to get registered to vote, I just HAVE TO!” I think Taylor Swift was the final nail in the coffin.

  6. The Trump team really put the double ghost handjob photo of him as the *first* picture on the shirt?

  7. Using intellectual property law to redress this is not likely to succeed, for a variety of reasons. The better approach is to let Trump keep at it all he wants and to mock him for it. Which is exactly what’s happening.

“Hmmmm…my faked AI photos of Taylor supporting me propelled her to publicly endorse Harris. Now what else can I do to piss her, and her millions of voting fans, off? I know: copyright infringement!”

  9. Another example of sane washing even in this critical article.

Trump didn’t say “I like Mrs Mahomes.”

He said, “I like uh… Mrs… uh… the wife of, uh… Mrs. Mahomes. I like her.”

  10. Terrible false headline.

The article correctly states that a few Taylor Swift fans have noticed Trump’s pathetic copycat merchandise, and they’re posting callouts to her publicist saying Trumo should be sued.

But there’s been no lawsuit or response of any kind. And frankly there probably won’t be, since look-alike merchandise that’s different is protected speech. I can make and sell a slightly different hat in the MAGA style. You can make and sell a T-shirt with a slightly different swoosh shape than Nike.

The Swifties have not yet (and probably won’t) “take down Trump’s Merch”.

I think their only chance to make an impact would be if they flagged any such merchandise on the platform or vendor’s site, which might force Trump’s people to spin their wheels arguing to the vendor why the copycat merch should remain.

I really hope she starts campaigning with Kamala or writes a song about her. She has a surprising amount of influence on young voters.

Conventional wisdom is that celeb endorsements don’t matter but I’m not so sure in this instance. Swift has such a huge active fan base I can’t see how it doesn’t help Harris.

This is great, but please remember that Kamala is still the underdog. Polls are incredibly unreliable and even if you trust them, the lead is marginal at best. Combine this with the outrageous electoral college, and we are in trouble.

Get the word out to vote. Vote yourself. Do what you can to ensure the orange guy is gone!

  14. “We didn’t copy her, your honor. As you can see, President Trump is facing the other direction, and we put words underneath the collage.” – Trump’s hack lawyer to the judge.
