Trump rejects second debate with Harris Former US President Donald Trump squared off against Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday in a debate that many pundits say he lost. Now, he says he won’t face her again.

Trump and Harris held their debate on national TV. He said afterwards that he was the clear winner. On Thursday, in a post on his Truth Social network, he rejected the idea of a rematch.

He said Harris and President Joe Biden have “destroyed” the US and that they are responsible for inflation “bankrupting” the middle class and allowing millions of people to “pour” into the country.

The post goes on to say that he discussed those topics “in great detail” in June during his first debate with Biden and in the one with Harris.

He also likened her to a boxer who calls for a rematch after losing a fight.

Harris wasted no time in responding. She said that she and Trump “owe it to the voters” to have another debate.
