I doubt anyone would accuse the Gardaí of having an overabundance of respect for the rules of the road like.

While it’s obviously good that they’re being held to account, the “closed doors” nature of the outcome is pretty frustrating. Doesn’t do much to improve the credibility of the organisation, which I think already has enough of a “public trust” problem

Next, start docking the pay of the ones who park officla vehicles in bus lanes outside shops so they can pick up their lunch (Centra, Westland Row, Dublin, off the top of my head). They need to be examples of behaviour and not breaking laws/rules for the sake of convenience.
