“One thing was clear during Tuesday’s debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris: Trump rose to every lure Harris threw in the water. Harris repeatedly triggered him, and he lost his ability to make coherent points or avoid bizarre conspiracy theories that he knew would turn off the moderate voters he wanted to appeal to.
The lesson for foreign adversaries is crystal clear: they can play Trump like a harp. The lesson for American voters is clear, too; Trump is simply too impulsive to be trusted with the power of the presidency including, most notably, nuclear weapons.
Trump’s personality is a national security vulnerability.”

At every level, he is a threat to the future of the United States.
He belongs in prison, not because of his politics, but because of the crimes he’s been convicted of.
Agreed, but it’s NOT just about Trump. Never let them off the hook by playing to the story that it’s just Trump. Yeah, he’s a problem, but he’s just a symptom of a bigger problem.
Right wing think tanks plotting things like Project 2025 and a base of voters that keep frothing at the mouth at rallies, vocally advocating for violence and actually trying to overthrow the government on Jan 6th. Never forget that.

Harris did such a good job at explaining this in the debate too, even better than Hillary did in 2016 (though a lot has happened since then). National security and abortion were definitely her strong areas, and I hope the true undecided voters got the message that we can’t let Trump have another 4 years.

During the debate Trump spoke to Abdul who he claims was the Taliban leader. There is no Abdul. The leader of the Taliban is Hibatullah Akhundzada since 2016. Who is Abdul? A spy? Some rando on TV?

The problem with Trump is he is just way too emotional. What’s going to happen if a nuclear war starts, and he is too upset to do anything because Putin made sure to send him a nasty message first about the size of his crowd?

I think what’s gonna happen to him is either he’s gonna takeoff to Russia and will never see him again, or he’s gonna end up in jail for treason because there’s no way if he knows secrets he’s not gonna try and sell them and use them as much as he possibly can, and he’s an idiot so he’ll get caught.

Let’s not forget that Trump doesn’t actually care about the presidency, democracy or America. His only interest in the presidency is in how it will benefit him. He has no conscience or moral compass; that makes him very dangerous.

Trump supporters can’t turn away from Trump, otherwise they’d have to admit they were wrong and that their traditional values were actually just generational racism, misogyny and prejudice that they failed to acknowledge or address.

Among all the commentary I have seen and heard since the debate ended last night, this is the first to raise the point that I think is the most significant of all. We cannot have a volatile infant in authority over America’s nuclear arsenal. Nor do we want him setting the tone in dealings with foreign governments, either friendly or hostile. If he showed us anything at all last night, he showed us that he lacks an adult measure of self control. Policies be damned, THIS is what I care about.

I’ve said since 2016 he exists as a clear and present danger, he’s leaked and still probably possesses classified material that has directly led to the deaths of federal and military personnel.

The irony was Harris mentioned during the debate that it was so easy for foreign dictators to manipulate Trump, while Harris herself easily manipulated Trump into giving out the answers she wanted him to say.
