  1. wet winter, wet spring, wet early summer… Im not a farmer but i grow veg at home and my crops have been devastated by the slugpocalypse this year

  2. That’s climate change for you. Don’t pretend you weren’t warned and don’t pretend that this will get better; it is going to be the norm and it is going to get worse.

  3. I’ve got a shit ton of tomatoes on my plant… but they won’t ripen.

    The weather is too wet and just not enough heat.

  4. But the other month people were praising the weather for the phenomenal flushes of strawberrys everyone was getting!

    Cause we can all live on strawberries and strawberries alone for the whole year.

    The only patch on our allotments that did well this year was the eccentric couple’s No Dig patch. Everything else was awful. 

    Fuck it, I’m going to try No Dig next year.

    In the east we had a good last two three months and the harvest somewhat recovered. Bloody wet first 6 months though
