So I bought these oats at Landi. While in shop I explicitly checked the country from where they come from, I saw Switzerland, and I bought them.
When opening the packet, I saw on the sticky bit of plastic used to close the opened packet that the oats are actually coming from Finland.

This looks like false advertisement, right?

  1. I don’t think so. It says the raw material come from Finland but the end product was put together in Switzerland.

    It sounds weird for oats, but imagine the production of a more complex product like a machine. It will get produced in one country but the materials will usually come from many different places.

    That said, I don’t know if there’s a swiss law that says you need to label this in a specific way
