Right so support individuals, families of all kinds, and denounce violence. Class act

  2. >Referencing GOP book bans against works like *And Tango Makes Three*, a children’s book about a penguin chick being raised by two male penguins, Walz said, “This is what these folks are focusing on. Like reading about two male penguins who love each other is somehow going to turn your children gay, and that’s what you should worry about.”

    >“But here’s what I’ll tell you,” he continued. “It’s a fact of life some people are gay, but you know what’s not a fact of life? That our children get shot dead in schools. That’s not a fact of life.”

    >His line referenced Vance calling school shootings an unfortunate “fact of life” after a school shooter in Georgia killed four people and injured nine others.

    >Walz continued, “We are going to make sure our children are seen, they bring their authentic selves, and we are going to make sure they’re safe when they get there.”

Tim Walz is the example of a leader with empathy. Everything Tim Walz has done shows that. He stands up for everyone and loves everyone he comes across, fighting for the right of everyone to be their authentic selves. He’s a profile in courage. As an LGBTQIA+ person who grew up in the South with little acceptance, I am so glad for every Tim Walz out here who is just fighting for everyone to be themselves.

We need more people like Tim Walz in the world, to show that the hate from those Tiffany Justice and Donald Trump has no place in America. Tim Walz is awesome!

Every time I think it is impossible for me to like Tim Walz more than I already do, this man finds a way to make me like him more. I can’t wait to have this guy as our vice president

  4. Tim Walz is exactly what every politician should be. An every day citizen that wants to impact change and has the courage to do so.

One of my favorite parts of his speech is when he says “no one should get a pat on the back for doing what’s right.” It might be a simple concept many of us were raised by, you you’d be hard pressed to find another statement that more clearly indicates the difference between the two campaigns.

  5. This is the way. Also throwing the “fact of life” line back in their faces in an appropriate way is just perfect.

Tim Walz’s speech was a powerful stand for LGBTQ+ rights and a strong critique of the GOP’s positions. His support for Matthew Shepard’s family and condemnation of Trump’s anti-trans policies highlight the urgent need for progress and compassion in our political landscape.

do not discussing this, it’s a trap , most people want to know more about future inflation reduction or there personal wealth.

  8. Guy fires from the hip and has a 100% kill rate! He must have the cheat code for reality! Oh he is real and a good person. He doesn’t need a cheat code! He’s solid!

  9. I caught some of this on the radio. He’s so normal!!

Then I heard a shrill GOP rep talking in her most dramatic voice about what would happen if Harris is elected. It was the weirdest stuff. Cats and dogs living together. Chinese armies invading and occupying Ohio. Children mutilated by their schools just because their dad drives a pickup truck. Thermonuclear war. Egg prices through the roof. Hot school lunches.

Well, ok, I might be misremembering some of it. It was just so odd my brain couldn’t make any sense of it.

  10. One of his best yet. I loved it from start to finish. He’s really taken command of the stage and his oratory style.

    As a trans woman.

Please please please let this man into the White House. He’s more empathetic and kind on this issues then like half my family.

People on the right are gonna call him aggressive and disrespectful for this, and it’s fucking dumb. You can be passionate about something and feel strongly about the topic and not be seen as some dude with anger management issues. They tried the same thing with Biden when he could yell “No malarkey!” over something he cared about.

when you enter a trans argument they automatically win. plus they now have an audience to take away the freedom of the weakest link and everyone else’s rights and freedom.
