  1. I love how most of the Philippines is like “yeah, just be a bit more careful than usual”, and then there’s that one part that’s like “N O”.

  2. Mexico isn’t as bad as they say.

There are for sure parts of it that are very bad, but it’s nowhere near as bad as the picture indicates.

Brazil is only like that because there’s always someone (Americans) who wants to tour the favelas. If you walk the right place you’re mostly grand. Still don’t flash your iPhone everywhere lol

  4. 🟩 Great bunch of lads

    🟨 Careful now

🟧 Down with this sort of thing

🟥 Never seen the like of it

  5. How is Saudi Arabia and gulf countries are “high degree of caution” while US and UK are green?

  6. Looks more like democratic countries versus non-democratic…
Interesting, why central asian countries are in yellow.. majority of tourists who go there say its safe & friendly.

  7. I live in the US and have a job that requires me to tell my company when I’m travelling abroad and I always get one of these from the State Department. For the past 2-3 years Ireland has been listed, by the US State Department, as a safer country to travel to than the US.

Had my mexican girlfriend look at the Mexico map. She said many of the yellow areas should be orange and vice versa.

  9. Hahaha, well I’ve just realised I went to a “Do not travel” zone by looking at this map 😭
