I put it down to poor social media marketing by the Sudanese

They need to reach the insta trends so people can start sharing stuff to feel good about themselves

  2. The indifference in the country towards 200,000 Irish children living below the poverty line is also shocking.

Skyrim draugr emerges from its crypt to moralise the Irish people for the millionth time.

The least we could be doing is housing those who’ve fled here rather than putting them in a tent or a disused paint factory in coolock

Because it’s Muslims killing other Muslims. There is no convenient ‘western power subjugating down-trodden people’ narrative. That said I also hope the Israel/Palestine violence ends today.

  6. Sudan, Nigeria, ongoing crisis in DRC, looming war between Ethiopia and Egypt, Yemen, Kurds being massacred in various middle east countries, Syria with over a quarter of a million dead, Central Asian conflicts brewing over water rights, Uighurs in China, Muslims in Myanmar. There’s many conflicts in the world. .

People really only tend to focus on certain conflicts for whatever reason it may be, such as Gaza or Ukraine. Big news. It’s disingenuous at best.

  7. I know how you get eyes on the war in Sudan, get American involved! Get them to sell 1 x bullet to either side in the conflict and the streets will be heaving with protesters.

We’re trying to live our lives Mary dear we can’t spend every waking hour worrying like fuck about the problems of the world we’d never be happy.

Then she should take some Sudanese into her own home immediately.

In the meantime, I think you Irish folks have some domestic issues that might be a bit higher priority.

  10. Maybe they could try murdering a young woman and parading her corpse through the street for people to spit on while screaming about God.

    We’ll probably support them then

  11. While inherently she is not wrong with it, she has become a promoter of globalist talking points, and the people she mingles with are using this “caring for the poor” message as somewhat of a smokescreen for turning a blind eye to the alarming situation that many European countries face today.

As if 1) they were all on board with it and 2) where they’re going ‘Old Europe’, its people and customs have stopped being relevant somehow.

  12. It’s kinda hard to keep up with war in Sudan. Basically they’ve had a war somewhere in Sudan for 40 years now.

1955 – 1972 there was the First Sudanese Civil War.

1983 – 2005 the Second Sudanese Civil War.

2003 – 2020 we had the War in Darfur.

2008 – ongoing Nomad conflicts in Sudan.

2011 – 2020 war in South Kordofan and Blue Nile.

2022 – 2023 Blue Nile kicked off again.

The current conflict from April 2023 is the Third Sudanese Civil War.

I don’t know how I feel about this woman. She sold her house to for a lot of money and made into a library named after herself. Then there was that time a princess got kidnapped and Mary tried to say that she was safe when she clearly was being held against her will. So much for this so called “feminist” sticking up for brutal oil sheikhs to kidnap their own daughters
