He used the drone to commit suicide. Not the worst option from a ukrainian point of view.

  2. Gotta say the whole being hunted by an explosive hummingbird based terminator has got to be a terrifying way to go out. It’s almost dystopian horror.

Still, we wouldnt be seeing this footage if Russia just fucked off back home.

  3. We’ve seen Russians surrendering to FPV drones before. Maybe the drone pilot wanted him to just stop and raise his arms by always nudging towards him.

At least trying to surrender in such a situation would’ve been beeter than ending up like Yamcha from Dragon Ball

  4. The drone just fell out of his hand, take a closer look. He was surprised himself.
He just had a job to do: DON’T FUCKING DROP IT…. and he dropped it.

  5. What’s the aim of getting so close to him repeatedly before detonating? It seemed like the drone operator was trying to get him to surrender. I can’t imagine they were just toying with him.

  6. As much as I want to think they were trying to get the soldier to follow the drone, a couple of passes seemed to go for the kill, like the first one that gets deflected. Do you stop hoping that they won’t kill you, thereby giving them a clear shot? It’s clear that the guy doesn’t want any of it but I don’t really know if I, wounded, panicked, would have acted any different.

What would’ve happend if he threw the drone in the ditch as hard as he could?
Surely the drone Operator still had (some) control over the drone and was trying to get free (at assume).

But would throwing the drone would’ve triggered the detonator?
    And thus saving his live?
